This society ... has been fostering educational institutions in different parts of Chennai, with the prime purpose of imparting education without discriminations on the basis of caste, creed, religion, region or gender. This school at VI-Block, Muthamil Nagar, Kodungaiyur had its inception in the year 1990 with the recognition of the Govt. of Tamil Nadu. With the experience of over two decades in the field of education and with the expertise of the management in providing the infrastructure for holistic education to the students, this school, Velankanni Public School, has adopted the CBSE pattern of education .
